Which readability formulas does it calculate?
Flesch Reading Ease, Flesch-Kincaid Grade Level, Gunning Fog Index, SMOG Index, Coleman-Liau Index, and Automated Readability Index (ARI).
What grade level should I target?
For general web content: Grade 6–8 (Flesch-Kincaid). For technical documentation: Grade 10–12. For academic writing: Grade 12+. The Flesch Reading Ease score inverts this — higher is easier.
Does it explain which sentences are too complex?
