About this tool

What is the RICE framework?
RICE stands for Reach, Impact, Confidence, and Effort. Score each potential feature on these four dimensions and calculate a priority score: (Reach × Impact × Confidence) ÷ Effort. Higher scores get prioritized first.
What units does each dimension use?
Reach: users per time period. Impact: 3 (massive), 2 (high), 1 (medium), 0.5 (low), 0.25 (minimal). Confidence: percentage (100% = fully confident). Effort: person-months.
Can I compare multiple features in one session?
Yes. Add up to 20 items, score each, and the calculator ranks them by RICE score in real time.
Can I export the prioritized list?
Yes. Export as CSV to paste into a Jira backlog, Notion table, or product roadmap doc.
